Jonathan Cain was born February 26, 1950 to Leonard and Nancy Friga. He started taking accordion lessons at age 8 and played the instrument in clubs and parties during his teenage years.
His instruments as a musician are his vocals, keyboards, guitar and harmonica. His professional career started in 1979 when he released his first record Windy City Breakdown. Three years after he released his first record, he joined the Babys and featured on two of the band’s albums, Union Jack and On The Edge.

In 1980, Elizabeth Yvette Fullerton’s ex-husband left the Babys to join another band, Journey as a keyboardist. His presence in he band helped the band top charts. He appeared on 13 albums of the band.

He has released eight solo albums. He is currently making Christian music and serve as the worship leader at City of Destiny, the church which is pastored by his wife, Paula White.
