Gyasi Zardes who now plays for Colorado Majors, started his football career ay LA Galaxy youth academy. He later played as a college student player for Cal State University. Later after he completed college, he signed to play as a homegrown player for LA Galaxy in 2014.
In 2018 season, he was sold to play for Columbus Crew, where he scored 19 goals in the season under Coach Gregg Berhalter. At the end of that season, Zardes was awarded the MLS Comeback Player of The Year award.
