The organizers of the show, The Saturday Night Show, announced his removal from the show few days after those podcast videos in which he used slurs went viral.
Shane Gillis took to his Twitter page to render an apology to all those who were offended by his utterances in the exposed videos and podcasts. Despite accepting and apologizing, he also said the jokes were taken out of context.
