In April 2021, She got banned on Twitch for wearing an inappropriate attire in one of her livestreams. Many people thought she was banned for hot tub stream, but that wasn’t the reason for her ban from the platform.
In the video that got her banned, Supcaitlin wore a bunny costume as she was taking part in a latest trend at the time called ”hot tub live streams”. The trend was about female streamers wearing mostly bikini-clad to chat with their followers in a hot tub.
She announced her banned from Twitch on her Twitter page. She told her followers about why she is unable to livestream.
She was suspended on Twitch because her dressing in the ”hot tub live streams” trend, violated the policies of Twitch. Her channel was later reactivated after 24 hours. She later told her followers that she suspected mass reporting of her video that led to her banned.
The Twitch policy she breached was ”We don’t permit streamers to be fully or partially nude, including exposing genitals or buttocks. We do not permit the visible outline of genitals, even when covered. Broadcasting nude or partially nude minors is always prohibited, regardless of context”.
She breach of the policy might have been taken serious because, Twitch has been accused for being lenient with female streamers.
